2017 Latest Photo Booth Trends

Here we go again a bunch of fab new trends set to take the photo booth hire industry by storm in 2017. This is our third year of predicting the trends and once again the industries best innovators have made available and popular a bunch of new photo booth industry toys for everyone to get excited about.

 

GIF Booth 

Officially pronounced JIF (yes like the white cleaning agent) a GIF is a video file created by adding a few static photo images, shot in quick succession together to make a short often very funny looping video. They are actually nothing new and have been around for a few decades but with their amazing shareability on social media and technical advancements have seem them become more popular than ever. With a GIF booth you can create not just these standard looping videos but also Boomerang GIFs which play forwards and then backwards in a loop bringing Benny Hill-esque hilarity back to the fore. Finally if that ain't enough GIF for you then you can even overlay some fancy graphics called "Filters" to give your GIF that extra edge.

Ipad Booth

Gone are the days when a modern photo booth needs to be bulky and cumbersome. If you're short of space either as an event holder or a photo booth operator looking to appeal to new markets then look no further than an Ipad Booth. An Ipod Booth is basically a simple frame with a light source which accommodates the integration of an Ipad from where a choice of customisable photo booth software controls everything. Having something so light weight and portable and often stunning looking with the "Halo" light source is fast becoming the must have photo booth trend for 2017.

Snap Chat Printer

Snap Chat has quickly become one of the most popular social media apps and is so on trend it's not funny. Which makes the recent news that Snap Chat and Tap2Print have joined forces to give us the easiest social printer ever made which turns Snaps into stickers in just 60 seconds beyond exciting! Whilst not officially a trend yet I am calling this one early and this little gem is going to be particularly popular with the under 25s and especially suitable for Corporate activations.
